Pastor Jermaine Nelson was born on July 16, 1993 on the beautiful Caribbean island of Jamaica. He is the eldest child of the union between his  parents Glendon and Maureen Nelson. At the age of 17 he responded to the  conviction from Jesus to preach the Gospel of Christ. In 2013 Pastor Nelson responded to God’s call to attend Oakwood  University where he later received his Bachelors in Theology. It was at Oakwood that he met his beautiful and amazing wife, the former Deanja Sturrup (pronounced de-an-ya) which the Lord gave to him. They were joined in marriage on August 11, 2017 and currently have two children, Jianna and Jordan. Upon leaving Oakwood, he received his Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Andrews Seminary in 2022. Jermaine’s love for Christ fuels his passion for ministry and innovative media solutions as seen on social media outlets like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook.

Jermaine’s Ministerial Mantra comes from Ephesians 2:8, “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.”

LET'S GROW

EBENEZER CHURCH

The phrase "Here I raise my Ebenezer" is a reference to the Bible verse 1 Samuel 7:12, which says, "Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, 'Thus far the Lord has helped us'". In the verse, the Israelites build a monument to honor God after he helps them defeat the Philistines in battle. The Hebrew word Ebenezer means "stone of help", and the monument serves as a reminder of God's love and grace, and the place where the Israelites felt his presence.
